Springtime Mood Board – 3/27/2023

Last week I said I was bringing the spring vibes, but when I look back…it was summer nights vibes for sure last week. Can you tell I desperately want warm weather?? So, I’m bringing the spring vibes this week.

With Easter right around the corner, there is a little inspo in here for the calming vibes I’m embodying for Easter. We plan on going to church and then spending the afternoon with friends. Nothing flashy, just wholesome fun to enjoy the time together and appreciate everything we have.

I’m also really trying to be calm and present in the moment, appreciating my family, animals, and the highly anticipated warmer weather that’s just around the corner. I am itching for spring!! This weekend should give me allllllll the feels for that. We’re planning to put up the playset we bought for the kids. I still have to paint it though…so maybe I should do that Friday before the guys come put it together.

Mood Board Monday – March 20

Last week, after putting together my moody mood board, the only thing I ended up doing that evening was having an espresso martini (or 5…) and had a cozy evening with my husband where we played Skip-Bo and talked for hours. It honestly was magical and lifted my mood tremendously. Marriage can be hard, and communication can be tricky and nuanced, but working at it and reaping the rewards of honest communication is so worth it.

This week, I’m just feeling the calming springtime vibes. I’m looking forward to the peak into summer, the gardening, the healthy fresh start that comes with warmer weather, and the possibilities that the rest of the year has in store.

One of my goals is to be more present. To spend more, undistracted time with my kids and explore the outdoors. Winter can be so long and confining, and the hope that spring brings for warm weather, blooming trees and flowers, and endless possibilities is what keeps me going this time of year. I just can’t wait. Maybe I’ll put together a summertime bucket list this week!
